Learners in Grade 10 Hospitality Studies at Myeka High School recently showcased their growing culinary expertise during a practical session designed to test their kitchen skills and creativity. The activity was part of their curriculum and focused on meal planning, preparation, and presentation.
During the practical, learners prepared a variety of dishes using different cooking methods. They demonstrated not only technical skills such as measuring, mixing, and proper use of kitchen equipment but also the ability to work under time constraints and maintain hygiene standards.

The room was filled with the aroma of delicious food and a sense of pride as learners plated their final dishes. Their creations reflected careful planning and teamwork, and the final presentation showed attention to detail and a clear understanding of the principles taught in class.
The session gave learners a taste of real-world kitchen experience and encouraged them to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting. It also highlighted the importance of time management, organisation, and presentation in the hospitality industry.
We extend our sincere thanks to Miss Mabika for her guidance, preparation, and dedication to her learners. Her support continues to inspire excellence and confidence in the classroom and beyond.
At Myeka High School, we continue to support practical learning that equips our learners with valuable skills and prepares them for both further studies and the workplace.
